A Vivid Imagination

Of course, I’m blowing things out of proportion and I do it just to get attention.

You didn’t do or say anything, I’m such a wally,

I’ve got a vivid imagination and I’ll make myself poorly.

No, it wasn’t anything at all, I read things into it,

I’ve got a vivid imagination, now that’s an end to it.

You are fine and dandy, it’s all in my head,

I’ve got a vivid imagination and I should go to bed.

Now I’m being silly, what have you got to do,

I’ve got a vivid imagination, I must be cuckoo.

I do not want to wind you up, cos I know you’ll go,

And if I do not like it, I know what I can do.

I’ll have a long hot bath  now and you’ll make me a nice cuppa.

I’ll settle down by the telly while you fix us some supper.

I sometimes believe that you care for me,

I sometimes believe I’m not lonely,

I sometimes believe that I’m happy,

I’ve got a vivid imagination ain’t that lucky.
